We are currently recruiting for a Fire Safety Compliance Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
The Role:
• You will act as the responsible officer for coordinating Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) delivery and fire remediation works across the property portfolio.
• Lead on compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, particularly for High-Rise Residential Buildings (HRRBs), working closely with the Building Safety Manager.
• Manage third-party consultants and contractors, ensuring FRA programmes and remediation works meet quality standards, legal obligations, and resident expectations.
• Maintain and report on fire safety compliance using C365, ensuring an evidence-based approach to document management and remediation tracking.
• Represent the organisation in regulatory matters and collaborate with internal teams and residents to ensure clear communication and access for works.
• Support the development of Safety Case reports, golden thread documentation, and resident engagement strategies for HRRBs.
• Lead procurement and contract management for fire safety works, ensuring value for money and compliance with FIRAS and other relevant standards.
• Provide assurance through audit-ready documentation and contribute to internal and external audits and inspections.
• Act as an internal fire safety advisor and champion continuous improvement in fire safety policies, procedures, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee FRA delivery, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting via C365
• Ensure HRRBs meet Building Safety Regulator expectations and statutory requirements
• Manage contractors and consultants, ensuring performance, quality, and safety standards
• Deliver programmes including FRAEW and Type 4 FRAs
• Maintain governance and assurance documentation for audits and inspections
• Engage with residents and stakeholders to ensure transparency and access
• Stay up to date with fire safety legislation and best practice
• Provide leadership, technical advice, and support across the organisation
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience managing FRA programmes and fire remediation works
• Strong understanding of fire safety systems, building construction, and compliance frameworks
• Experience using C365 or similar compliance management systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Ability to problem-solve and support staff in making sound decisions
• First-class customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
Qualifications Required:
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management (or equivalent)
• HNC or equivalent in Construction, Surveying, Fire Safety, or Building Management
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Building Safety Act 2022
• Experience with JCT MW contracts and contractor performance management
• Understanding of the housing sector, TSM regulatory regime, and consumer standards
