Community Safety Officer

Community Safety Officer – Interim 

Hybrid | Full patch responsibility 

We’re looking for an experienced Community Safety Officer to join our Housing & Healthy Communities directorate on an interim basis. You’ll lead on ASB and community safety casework across multiple localities, working proactively to keep customers safe and build stronger neighbourhoods.

What you’ll be doing

•     Managing a varied caseload of ASB and community safety cases

•     Preparing cases for legal action and attending multi‑agency forums

•     Working closely with customers, partners and local authorities

•     Monitoring hotspot areas and emerging issues

•     Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and GDPR

•     Championing safeguarding, inclusion and customer wellbeing

What we’re looking for

•     Strong ASB and case management experience

•     Knowledge of tenancy enforcement and ASB legislation

•     Confident working with challenging or sensitive situations

•     Collaborative, resilient and able to build trust quickly

•     CIH Level 3 (or willing to work towards)

•     Ability to travel across a wide geographical patch
