Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and ready to make a real impact in property compliance and data management?

We’re excited to be supporting a respected public sector organisation in their search for a Compliance & Data Officer to join their Housing Property Services & Asset Management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring housing assets remain safe, compliant, and well-managed for the communities they serve.

🧭 The Role

As a Compliance & Data Officer, you’ll be at the heart of a busy and supportive compliance team — helping to keep property records accurate, inspections on track, and reports up to date.

You’ll maintain essential compliance documentation, monitor statutory servicing, and support reporting processes that feed into high-level performance and regulatory submissions.

No two days will be the same: you’ll be liaising with contractors, surveyors, and internal teams to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

🔸 Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance and asset data records
  • Track and schedule statutory inspections, servicing, and remedial works
  • Monitor key certification (e.g. gas safety, electrical, fire risk, asbestos) to ensure deadlines are met
  • Liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders to obtain documentation and updates
  • Support the production of compliance reports and dashboards for management and external audit
  • Assist with contract administration and contribute to process improvements
  • Respond to internal queries and Freedom of Information requests

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience in a data administration or compliance support role (property or housing experience desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident with Excel, databases, and document management systems
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance (e.g. gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene) is advantageous
  • A collaborative team player with great communication skills
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing deadlines

🌟 Why Apply?

  • Be part of a dedicated team making a tangible difference to local communities
  • Work in a supportive environment that values wellbeing, collaboration, and professionalism
  • Gain exposure to multiple compliance disciplines and further develop your skills
  • Excellent public sector benefits and hybrid working opportunities
