Compliance Co-Ordinator (Health&Safety)
Location: Winchester - Hybrid Working 50/50
Contract Type: Interim – 6 months
Salary: £16.63 per hour PAYE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Health, Safety and Compliance Co-ordinator to join a forward-thinking Property Services team. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents by supporting key compliance responsibilities across a diverse housing portfolio.
🔧 What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the delivery of landlord health and safety and fire safety compliance.
- Managing and maintaining data and IT systems to ensure robust compliance records.
- Preparing reports and performance data to enable informed decision-making.
- Liaising with customers, contractors, and stakeholders to promote safe housing environments.
- Organising safety committees and supporting the implementation of policy updates.
- Helping to manage action plans and ensure timely resolution of compliance tasks.
🧩 What we're looking for:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical language into clear advice.
- A precise eye for detail with excellent data management and IT skills (experience with systems like Orchard, Keystone, or Business Objects is a plus).
- Experience in a health and safety/compliance-focused role, ideally within housing or construction.
- A self-motivated team player with the confidence to work with internal teams and external contractors alike.
- Organised, customer-focused, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
📘 Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Experience working in social housing or a customer-focused public service.
- Proficiency with document management systems (like SharePoint) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and development in the compliance and health & safety field.
