Are you an experienced surveyor with a strong background in compliance, property maintenance, and contract delivery? Do you have the technical expertise and organisational skills to ensure landlord compliance services are delivered to the highest standard? If so, we want you to join us as our Contract Delivery Surveyor (Compliance), playing a key role in ensuring compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction across our property portfolio.

 In this role, you’ll support the delivery of essential compliance services, including asbestos, legionella, lifts, fire safety systems, fall arrest systems, and white goods, through our contracted supply chain partners. You’ll make sure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to regulatory standards, while driving service quality and ensuring contract SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved.

 You'll be responsible for:

  • Compliance Service Delivery – Supporting and managing high-quality landlord compliance repairs and installation services, ensuring all works meet statutory, regulatory, and health & safety requirements.
  • Health & Safety & Regulatory Standards – Ensuring compliance with Midland Heart policies, current legislation, and building regulations across all services delivered.
  • Customer Care & Experience – Working with colleagues across Midland Heart to deliver a seamless, customer-focused service, continually improving through lessons learned and feedback.
  • Performance & Reporting – Supporting the achievement of contract SLAs and KPIs, monitoring contractor performance, and providing timely reports and certification for all works.
  • Financial Control & Value for Money – Supporting budget monitoring, ensuring spend is managed effectively within delegated authority and in line with financial regulations.
  • Contractor & Supply Chain Management – Supporting the Contract Manager in leading supply chain administration, monitoring contractor performance, and providing coaching and guidance to maintain quality service delivery.
  • Out-of-Hours Support – Participating in the on-call/standby rota to support delivery of an effective out-of-hours emergency service.

 We’re looking for someone with:

  • A recognised building / M&E related qualification, supervisory site management qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of compliance, building regulations, health & safety legislation, and CDM regulations.
  • Strong experience of managing contractors and achieving challenging performance targets.
  • The ability to identify building defects, implement change, and drive service improvements.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills.
  • A full valid driving licence (essential).
