Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor  
Salary: £47,523 per annum
Location: Field
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday

We’re looking for an experienced Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor to help ensure homes are safe, healthy, and maintained to the highest standards. This is your opportunity to combine technical expertise with a people focused approach to make a real difference in residents’ lives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Survey domestic and communal properties to identify and resolve damp, mould, and disrepair issues.
  • Lead work programmes from diagnosis through to completion, managing contractors or in house teams.
  • Liaise directly with residents to explain findings, proposed works, and timescales.
  • Work with contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Use data to track issues, identify root causes, and recommend preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, housing management, and resident groups to improve service delivery.
  • Produce accurate reports, KPIs, and recommendations for service improvements.
  • Keep up to date with regulations, Ombudsman guidance, and best practice.

What you’ll bring:

  • Expertise in damp, mould, and disrepair case management.
  • Knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and best practice requirements.
  • Experience managing contractors and delivering high quality, customer-focused services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • HNC in Building Construction (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence and business-use insurance.
