Data and Asset Manager
- £65,000

- Permanent
The Role:
We are seeking a Data and Asset Manager to take ownership of asset data integrity, reporting, and the effective use of asset management systems across a growing and diverse property portfolio. This is a pivotal role that blends technical data expertise with strong property knowledge, ensuring that accurate, reliable asset information underpins investment planning, compliance, and operational decision‑making.
You will lead the development of asset databases, oversee data cleansing and validation, implement asset management software, and produce insightful dashboards and reports that shape long‑term asset strategy. Working closely with colleagues across Asset Management, IT, Finance, and Transactions, you will ensure data excellence supports organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust asset data management systems, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing development of asset management software and databases.
- Validate and update asset data, including stock condition surveys, planned works, and compliance records.
- Produce high‑quality reports and dashboards to support investment planning, asset performance analysis, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage data cleansing programmes, resolving discrepancies and improving data accuracy.
- Monitor compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Ensure newly acquired property data is accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Provide training, guidance, and technical support to colleagues on data processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Work collaboratively with IT, Finance, Transactions, and wider Asset Management teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in property‑specific asset data management, ideally within social housing or a regulated sector.
- Proficiency with asset management systems and data analysis tools (Power BI, SQL, Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in property and housing environments.
- Property-focused data expertise (rather than general IT data background).
- Ability to travel to the Worcester office twice weekly as part of a hybrid working pattern.
This Role Offers:
- The opportunity to shape and modernise asset data systems and processes.
- High visibility across the organisation with influence on investment planning.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Hybrid working with structured office collaboration twice per week.
- A meaningful role supporting the long‑term stewardship of essential housing assets.
