A high growth, innovative organisation is seeking a Head of Business Development to lead the expansion of its retrofit and electrification solutions.

This is a strategic leadership role with real impact, driving commercial growth, shaping partnerships, and accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility.

This role plays a critical part in expanding market presence and delivering long-term growth through partnerships and new opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive growth strategy for retrofit and electrification solutions across key markets 
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams 
• Build and manage relationships with OEMs, operators, government bodies, and key stakeholders 
• Lead the development of commercial proposals, bids, and contract negotiations 
• Monitor market trends, policy developments, and competitor activity to inform strategy 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams 
• Own and deliver against revenue targets and pipeline development 
• Represent the business at industry events, forums, and client engagements

Experience:

• Proven experience in senior business development or commercial leadership roles 
• Strong track record of winning new business and closing complex deals 
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills 
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insights into growth plans 
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation expertise
