Head of Finance and Treasury
Location: Northamptonshire (mainly remote)
Salary: £90,000 + £5,000 car allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and commercially astute Head of Finance and Treasury to join the senior leadership team of a well-established and purpose-driven housing organisation. The Role
 As Head of Finance and Treasury, you’ll be a key player in the strategic and operational delivery of finance and treasury services. Reporting directly to the Executive Director and sitting on the Senior Alliance Management Team, you’ll lead on financial planning, treasury management, governance compliance, and performance monitoring.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Delivering strategic finance and treasury plans that underpin long-term business sustainability
  • Ensuring effective financial forecasting and risk management across the organisation
  • Supporting cross-functional change and innovation projects
  • Providing expert advice to the Executive Team, Board and Committees
  • Championing value for money and operational efficiency throughout all financial activity

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking an inspirational leader who brings:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in financial and treasury management at a senior level
  • Strong leadership capability, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Experience of strategic business planning, governance and compliance in a regulated environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

Desirable attributes include:

  • Experience within social housing or a regulated public sector environment
  • Familiarity with financial modelling tools such as Brixx
