Local Service Manager (Housing Housing)

Salary: £29,925 | 35 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Are you passionate about supporting residents, building strong communities, and making a real impact every day? We’re looking for a Local Service Manager / Housing Officer to take ownership of a well‑managed scheme in the heart of Rickmansworth.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of a single block of 28 tenants, ensuring a safe, supportive, and well‑maintained environment. This is an office‑based role, Monday to Friday, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on and present for their residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing rent arrears and supporting residents to maintain their tenancies
• Overseeing repairs and maintenance, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
• Using the Pyramid housing management system daily
• Handling low‑level ASB (nothing complex or high‑risk)
• Providing support to residents, including residents with complex needs
• Building strong relationships with contractors, support services, and internal teams.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in housing, tenancy management, or a similar support‑focused role
• Confident managing rent accounts and repairs
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• A calm, empathetic approach — especially when supporting vulnerable residents
• Ideally a car driver, due to the nature of the role
