 The kind of Board Member we’re looking for

We’re looking for an active, rounded Board Member who is keen to make an impact and brings expertise in these areas:

• Has led significant digital, technological, organisational or transformation programmes and understands what real change looks and feels like.
• Can bring additional insight in one or more of: digital transformation and ICT, cyber governance, organisational change, environmental sustainability and net zero.
• Is comfortable scrutinising performance, risk and financial information, and can translate complex papers into clear questions and decisions.
• Values integrity, openness and diversity of thought, and is willing to bring both support and challenge in equal measure.

 You’ll contribute across the full range of Board responsibilities: strategy, risk, financial viability, customer outcomes, people and culture, and major investment decisions. You’ll act as an ambassador for Community Housing, staying close to residents, partners and stakeholders while keeping a clear line of sight on the regulator’s expectations.

 Who this will particularly suit

• Have contributed at Board level in a regulated environment.
• Have a background in digital, technology, organisational change, sustainability or a related field and want to apply that experience in a mission-led context.
• Live in or have a connection to Worcestershire or the wider Midlands and want your governance contribution to be rooted in a specific place and community.
