Are you passionate about retrofit, net zero, and helping social housing organisations deliver sustainable homes? We are working with Rand Associates, part of the M3 Housing group, who are seeking a Retrofit Project Coordinator to support and deliver their growing portfolio of retrofit and sustainability projects. Please note:  You will also have a car allowance of £3,600 per annum (paid monthly). 

The Role:

This exciting position will see you coordinating existing and new retrofit projects, providing technical and project management consultancy services to clients across the social housing sector. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the highest standard, and in line with regulatory requirements, including Trustmark certification.

The role reports directly to the Head of Net Zero and will involve client engagement, regular site visits, and close collaboration with the wider team to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality retrofit projects within agreed timescales through Rand Associates’ Net Zero department.

  • Provide technical and project management consultancy, managing projects from inception to completion.

  • Ensure compliant Trustmark certification on a per-property basis.

  • Maintain and report accurate project data and statistics.

  • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits (primarily across the Northwest of England, with travel UK-wide as required).

  • Use third-party industry-specific software, including ECMK and Cotality’s PasHub.

  • Support colleagues across Rand Associates and the wider M3 group as required.

  • Undertake training and professional development to meet the requirements of the role.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related construction discipline (achieved or in progress), OR demonstrable experience in PAS2035/PAS2030, domestic energy assessment, or wider surveying/construction.

  • Experience or ambition to work as a building surveyor, retrofit coordinator, or domestic energy assessor.

  • Strong IT skills and the ability to use specialist software.

  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a professional and detail-oriented approach.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement

  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management.

  • Qualified Retrofit Assessor and Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).

  • Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings.

  • A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle (car allowance and mileage paid).

  • DBS check required.
