Are you a data‑driven problem‑solver who can turn complex information into meaningful insight? A leading Housing Services team is seeking an experienced Senior Data & Performance Analyst on an interim basis to strengthen performance reporting, drive service improvement, and support regulatory compliance.

The Role

You’ll lead the development and delivery of performance analysis, business intelligence, and data insight across Housing Services. The focus is on transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable intelligence that helps managers and senior leaders make informed decisions and improve outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and performance reports for managers, senior leaders, committees, and regulators.
• Analyse high‑volume and high‑risk service areas (repairs, voids, damp & mould) to identify trends, risks, exceptions, and opportunities.
• Lead KPI development and monitoring, ensuring alignment with priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all reporting.
• Support production of TSMs and regulatory submissions.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data accessibility.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and clear interpretation for non‑technical audiences.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience in analytics, BI, statistics or similar.
• Strong Power BI development skills and experience working with large datasets from multiple systems.
• Advanced Excel capability and strong numerical/statistical skills.
• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Experience presenting insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of housing performance measures, tenant satisfaction requirements, and regulatory standards.

Desirable

• Understanding of social housing legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with housing management systems or data warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of data quality management and governance principles.
