The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Condition Surveyor to play a key role in delivering high-quality asset data and ensuring housing stock meets all safety, compliance, and quality standards.
You will be responsible for undertaking detailed property surveys, identifying risks, and supporting long-term investment planning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about housing quality, compliance and improving resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with: Decent Homes Standard, Housing legislation, Fire Safety Regulations
- Conduct stock condition surveys to a high professional standard
- Undertake HHSRS assessments and identify potential hazards
- Carry out fire door inspections and support building safety compliance
- Identify and escalate risks including damp, mould, structural issues and health & safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records using asset management systems
- Contribute to asset investment planning and lifecycle management
- Support estate inspections and ensure follow-up actions are completed
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a seamless service
- Promote energy efficiency and sustainability in future programmes
About You:

Strong knowledge of:
- Stock condition surveying or property inspections within housing
- Building construction and defects
- HHSRS and housing legislation
- Fire safety and compliance requirements
- Experience identifying and managing risks within housing stock
- Ability to manage data accurately and use asset management systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer-focused services
